Triangle Coalition for STEM Education presents the
14th Annual STEM Education Conference
Sustaining STEM: Maintaining the Movement, Widening the Circle
October 8-10, 2014
STEM is now a much-debated and, perhaps, much-hyped topic for educators, policymakers, and theoreticians. As advocates for STEM education, we must consider whether we’re nearing the zenith of interest in STEM, whether our efforts to expand access to STEM resources are as inclusive as they should be, and what must we do to ensure STEM remains at the forefront of education policymakers’ and problem-solvers’ minds.
Join Triangle Coalition for its 14th annual conference, “Sustaining STEM: Maintaining the Movement, Widening the Circle,” October 8-10 in Washington, DC. This year’s program will examine the critical issues and solutions for sustaining the STEM education movement.
Presentations will center around conference strands, including:
- Sustaining STEM through partnerships;
- Building momentum in unexpected places – broadening participation among the underserved; and
- Planning for the STEM paradigm of the future.
