The Idaho Science, Mathematics, and Technology Coalition (ISMTC) works to establish education-focused collaborations and to implement programs that increase the percentage of Idaho students with the math, science, engineering and technology skills necessary to enter and succeed in today’s workforce.
Through the dedication and generosity of its member volunteers and organizations, ISMTC is committed to advancing the future of Idaho education by:
Promoting Professional Development
- Supporting the professional development of Idaho math, science, engineering and technology teachers in order to help them to achieve more rigor and relevance in technical-education fields.
Championing Education Partnership
- Uniting education, business, and government representatives, through annual conferences and activities, to foster dialogue, collaborative relationships, and strategies for advancing Idaho science, mathematics, engineering and technology education.
Enhancing Access to Resources
- Serving as a knowledge network and clearinghouse for education-based information and resources that are relevant to the mission and goals of educators, industry, and government alike.
Providing a Return to Stakeholders
- Tailoring the mission and activities of ISMTC to reflect the needs of its partners in order to provide a return on investment for stakeholders and students.
