Since 1992, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has hosted a Math/Science Regional Center (MSRC) at no cost for 56 eligible students who attend high schools in our target region: Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. The program is designed for students who have a strong interest in aerospace, aviation, aviation security, computers, engineering, science, space physics or other technical fields. Our staff will assist math/science students in acquiring the academic and life skills necessary for success in college and their chosen careers. There will also be social and cultural opportunities and experiences.
The MSRC program is free to all accepted participants through funding from the U.S. Department of Education. The project will focus on its primary goal, which is to assist eligible high school students, through math and science instruction, in order to be successful in their collegiate and career math/science pursuits.
