The National Middle Level Science Teachers' Association works in association with the Middle Level Division of the National Science Teachers Association. Its goals are to:

• Involve more members in NMLSTA projects.

• Provide more networking opportunities for middle level science teachers.

• Strengthen our state contacts program so that we can get the word out to all middle level science teachers about the benefits of NMLSTA.

• Increase membership.

• Continue partnerships with companies and organizations to improve middle level science teaching.

• Share effective teaching activities and the results of educational research useful to middle level science teachers.

• Increase the visibility of NMLSTA as a national leader in middle level science education.
